Terms of Service

01Scope

This agreement is between you — as the owner of the showroom or rental agency — and Caros, which operates this platform (“Caros”, “we” or “us” in this agreement).

It does not govern the relationship between you and your customers. Selling or renting a vehicle is a contract between you and them, and we are not a party to it.

02Accounts and onboarding

There is no self-service signup for Caros. We set your account up by hand after we agree terms, and configure your domain, branding and plan with you.

You are responsible for keeping your team’s credentials confidential and for what your team members do on the account. Roles are available to you to decide who adds, who prices, and who deletes.

03Plans, limits and payment

Each plan carries a limit on vehicles and on photos per vehicle. The vehicle limit is enforced at the moment you save.

Payment is by transfer or any method we agree, and the payment reference is recorded on your subscription. There is no payment gateway in the platform and we do not hold your card details.

Six-month and yearly subscriptions are paid in advance at a published price below paying monthly, and there is no setup fee.

• We take no percentage of your sales or rentals, at any volume.
• Prices may change with prior notice, and a change does not apply to a period already paid for.

04Suspension and termination — and they are different

If your subscription period ends without renewal, your storefront is suspended: visitors see a page in your own branding saying the site is temporarily unavailable, and editing stops. Your dashboard stays open so you can see your data and renew. Suspension is reversed by renewing.

Termination — your domain ceasing to resolve at all — is not used for payment reasons. It applies when either party ends the agreement, or on a serious breach of acceptable use.

You may end the agreement at any time. A reasonable window is given to export your data before deletion.

05Your content and your data

Your vehicles, photos, copy, branding and customers are yours. We host and display them on your behalf, claim no ownership of them, and use them for nothing other than running your service.

You confirm that you have the right to publish what you upload, and that the photos and specifications represent the actual vehicle. We do not alter or regenerate your vehicle photos; what you see is what you uploaded.

A non-removable "Powered by Caros" link appears in your storefront footer.

06Acceptable use

You agree not to use the platform to:

• List vehicles you do not own or have no right to sell or rent.
• Publish misleading data or prices, or photos that are not of the vehicle listed.
• Send unsolicited commercial messages to people who did not contact you.
• Do anything unlawful where you operate, or attempt to reach another dealer’s data.

07What we promise, and what we do not

We make reasonable efforts to keep the service available. We do not guarantee uninterrupted operation; maintenance happens, and so do provider outages.

We make your vehicle pages indexable and give them the structured data they need. We do not guarantee any particular search ranking, or any number of visits or enquiries — ranking is the search engines’ decision, not ours, and anyone promising you first place is selling something they do not own.

The platform’s structural guarantees — such as refusing two overlapping confirmed bookings on the same vehicle — operate inside the system. What happens outside it, such as a booking agreed on the phone and never recorded, is outside the scope of any technical guarantee.

08Liability

The service is provided as is. We are not liable for indirect damages or lost profits. Our total liability is limited to what you paid for the service in the twelve months preceding the event.

None of this limits any liability that cannot be excluded under applicable law.

09Changes to the service and to these terms

We develop the platform continuously and may add or change features. We will not remove a material feature you depend on without reasonable notice.

We may update these terms; an update takes effect from the date it is published, and we will notify you of material changes.

10Governing law

This agreement is governed by the laws of the Syrian Arab Republic, whose courts have jurisdiction over any dispute arising from it.
